Palmview is a A$3 billion master-planned community to be completed over the next 20 years, which will bring more than 360 hectares of well located, developable land to market.

The master planned area totals 926 hectares and is bound by the Bruce Highway to the west and Chancellor Park and the Mooloolah River National Park to the north – and is in close proximity to the University of the Sunshine Coast. Approximately A$165 million in major roads will be constructed as part of the development.

More than 7,000 dwellings will be constructed in the new master-planned community and when finalised, Palmview will house around 17,000 people. The structure plan for Palmview includes a centrally located District Activity Centre of 15,000 square metres with a traditional main street layout, a town park of 3 hectares, civic plazas, a transit station, a district community facility, two Local Activity Centres of 3,500 square metres each and a 20,000 square metre Local Employment Area Precinct.

Investment opportunities

  • Over 40,000 square metres gross floor area of business, commercial and retail opportunities will be available in the town centre, two local retail centres and a high-quality local industrial larea and business park over the life of the project.
  • The first stages of residential development are expected to commence in 2017.
